Today's Bible Reading- Job Chapters 39-42 and Psalm Chapters 1-5.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 81°, cloudy, 20% chance of rain, good air quality (31), winds from the east northeast at 4 miles per hour, and humidity is at 94%.
So, we made it to the doctor's office yesterday morning. What I thought would be a long visit turned out to be maybe 15 minutes. We have to go back today, though, because a new chapter is about to begin. Mom's current doctor is retiring. So, he wants to see her one more time but he's booked up solid until August, which is when he retires.
The hunt for a new doctor begins.
Supper last night was delicious. The chicken wasn't overcooked, the lettuce greens were fresh and crisp, the fruit wasn't sour but not overly sweet (I made a bowl of fresh blueberries, strawberries and peaches), and the lemon vinaigrette added just the right kick to it all. There were no leftovers. Pop ate the last couple of slices of chicken, and he put some whipped cream on top of the last bit of fruit.
Supper tonight will be less gourmet. Sloppy joes are on the menu.
That's about all I have for today, peeps. The job hunt for Pop is still on, but he has a few more nibbles, the cops are at my neighbor's house (the quiet one, not the cat lady), and I need to get myself together. We have to be at the doctor's office again at 10:30.
Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
