Here is something I want to say to the extremes of both left and right.
Hard Left: If your ideology is encouraging or enabling you to legitimise discriminatory attitudes because it is someone on the opposite side then maybe you need to question that ideology. You are not a good person. Exclusion is not inclusion. Discrimination is not acceptance.
Hard Right: If your ideology is encouraging or enabling use of foul language and discriminatory attitudes, irrespective of the context, against everyone who is on the opposite side, finding scapegoats for the ills of the society based on people's skin colour, defining nationality just on the basis of ethnicity then you need to question that ideology. You are not a decent person. Hatred is not wholesome. Unrelentless mocking is not based.
Extreme tribalism is regressive, pointless and divisive. We need to move on from this stupidity. Lead with love and let love make itself a priority in your life.
