We are meeting tomorrow for our monthly hike. By the end of the month the mornings will be crisp enough to need a jacket. I thought some fingerless mitts would be a good accessory to keep her hands warm as she plays outside this fall. I made Fire Pit Mitts for her out of some tweed from my stash. This has become my go to fingerless mitt pattern for worsted weight yarn. I like the simple look of these, and they are a breeze to knit up. I'm looking forward to surprising her with these, along with a sticker from our last hike. I hope they keep her hands warm once the days get cold.
