Today's Bible Reading- Ezekiel Chapters 1-4.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 81°, sunny with a few clouds, no rain, good air quality, winds are coming from the east northeast at 12 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 79%.
This day is going by so fast! Oh my word. I woke up just before 7:00 this morning, made the coffee, washed Gracie's fountain and replaced the filters. I was on the computer and since it was getting towards 7:30, I figured I'd just wait until I'd fed the fish to have my prayer time. Well, I had a potty break and it wasn't very long, but when I came out to see if it was 8:00 yet, it was 8:20! What?! I wasn't in there that long!
I rushed to feed the fish. They weren't up yet. Mr. Fishy finally popped over to say hi, but I think he needed some coffee. Their water was 71°. I came back in the house and it was 8:29. How did I spend 9 minutes out there? It felt like 2.
Needless to say, my body is running slower or time is running faster. It's now 9:29 as I write this. I'm on my second cup of coffee, my hair is up, the bed is made and my prayer time has been had.
I was supposed to attend a meeting last night, but people were having scheduling issues, so it's been postponed until we can reschedule. I received a text this morning that I have another meeting to attend tomorrow morning at 8:30. Yikes!
Today I'll be balancing ledgers, and hunting down a new shower curtain for the bathroom. We also are in need of a new can opener. The one we've had for years has been showing signs of age. I think I can get both things at Ollie's. I hope so.
Mom also wants me to take her out to get my sister a birthday card. I think. Maybe she's changed her mind. I don't know. I'll have to ask.
Welcome to September, by the way. The last bits of summer and school is in session. I remember that school used to start the day after Labor Day, and we'd get out for the summer Memorial Day weekend. Kids nowadays have so many holidays and days off that school starts in early August and runs into June. Wow.
Subs are on the menu tonight. I bought some sub meat from Aldi yesterday. It has the meat and cheese already ready. I got some tomatoes, onion (for Mom), pickles and we have our own lettuce. I think they'll be pretty good. I hope they are. It's going to be fairly warm today. Cooler than it has been, but still warm enough that I don't want to use the stove.
I also have to fill the car up today. I could have done it yesterday, but I had frozen items in the car. I did buy some more gluten free chicken nuggets, and they had some honey mustard there, so I bought some of that too.
That's all I have for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
