Had to pick another place to eat after our initial restaurant was randomly closed. We decided on Hawaiian Drive Inn, a hole in the wall spot.

We dropped in on a Tuesday afternoon (1:30pm) for a late lunch.

5 tables to sit inside at but it's no frills (no water, real plates or cutlery provided).

Menu consists of breakfast, mini plates, regular plates, combos, sandwich & fries and saimin noodles. Won't find a cheaper place in the area.
3x Hawaiian Sun juice ($1.30 USD)

Musubi ($2.00 USD)
We tried the spam musubi. Serviceable.
Saimin ($3.80 USD)
Thin egg noodles with a couple pieces of sliced spam and green onion. Broth is plain.
Loco moco mini plate ($7.99 USD)
Gravy comes on the side. A touch bland and thin.

Fried egg with hamburger steak was solid.
Curry mix plate combo ($11.25 USD)
Two scoops of rice, macaroni salad, hamburger steak, teriyaki steak and curry sauce with chicken. Mac salad was overdressed.

Curry was bland. Teriyaki steak and the hamburger were excellent cooked.
BBQ mix plate combo ($12.50 USD)
BBQ short ribs, BBQ chicken and teriyaki steak. Short ribs was everyone's favourite. Chicken was decent, teriyaki steak was better.

Cash only. Filling portions that partially satisfied our Hawaiian cravings.
