昨日とは打って変わって今日は雨模様の暗い１日でした。この辺り、ちょっと前にお天気予報をチェックした時にはもっと晴れマークがあった気がするのですがなくなっていて、明日も雨のようです。
Contrast to yesterday's weather, it has been very dark today with some rain. I thought when I checked the weather a little while ago I saw sunny mark around now but there aren't any now, it'll be another grey day tomorrow.
昨日夫が作ってくれたチキンとチョリソのフィロパイは４人分だったので、まだ半分残っていました。ということで、今日も昨日と同じディナーです。煮込みではなくてこういう火を通しすぎると乾燥しそうだったり硬くなりそうなときは、オーブンの予熱をせずに入れると同時にオーブンもオンにして、ゆっくり温めるようにしています。多分、電子レンジでチンでも良いと思うのですが偏って温まりそうだったので、オーブンで温め直すことにしました。サラダは昨日と気分を変えるため、洋梨入りにしましたが、やはりごくシンプルです。フィロパイは結構がっつり味なので、サラダはさっぱりが良いと思います。
The Chicken & Chorizo Filo Pie my husband cooked yesterday was for 4 people so we had just half and the other half was waiting in the fridge, so that's what we had today for dinner. Unless it's something like a casserole, I don't pre-heat the oven when I re-heat something like today's dinner, I put it in the oven then put the oven on so it warms up slowly, this way I think it doesn't dry out easily and warm up more evenly. We made a salad with pear today so it makes a little difference from yesterday's dinner. The pie is quite strongly flavoured so we kept the salad simple and refreshing.
