Today's Bible Reading- Ruth Chapters 1-4.
March's Memory Verse- John 14:6.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for this Good Friday: 71°, sunny, no rain, winds from the west northwest at 6 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 65%.
It's a beautiful morning! The sun is bright and I'm hoping to get some yard work done today.
Pop wasn't supposed to work today, but he was asked to come in, so he's working. I may try to mow the lawn, at least the front yard, on my own. I could use the push mower. That's the hope, at least. If I don't get that done today, then I'll be working on ledgers and getting some running around done and the yard will be done tomorrow, Lord willing. I do have some boxes that need to go.
Piddling around stuff. That's what I'm doing today if the yard isn't done.
You know, I was looking at the sunflowers the other day and I noticed something. The soil there is loaded with bits of glass! Broken glass. What?! I wonder what happened.
Since it is Good Friday, I won't be cooking today! Supper tonight will be Long John Silver's. Mm. I get a hankering for it about once or twice a year and I'm looking forward to it.
Supper last night was supposed to be grilled peanut chicken. The wind was too high to grill, though, so I cooked the chicken in the skillet. It was halfway decent with a little kick. Pop said it was very spicy. Hmm. I didn't think it was crazy spicy. I don't know. Mom said it was spicy too. Maybe my taste buds were off.
That's all I have for today, peeps. Not much to say today. My brain is going crazy fast thinking of all the things I'd like to get done over the next couple of days. I do want to work on some of the Easter meal tomorrow so I can rest and enjoy Easter. Easter shouldn't be stressful. It's a joyous occasion. The highest Holy Day in Christianity.
Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
