Chaitiang is a Thai restaurant. Judging by the photos, it's more of a bar with a pool table and karaoke stage, catering to students at Gacheon University. W found the place on a food delivery app, where the menu options (and names of dishes in Thai) suggested authenticity.
The rice appeared to be a blend of Korean and Thai (jasmine).
When the tops of the containers were opened, everything looked legit. Even the initial aroma had a strong scent of fish sauce. But alas, the flavors and textures fell way short.
Still, the prices are cheap enough - most dishes between 12,000 - 15,000 won - that I might be willing to give it another shot.
