Of poets and writers,
Calling my pen
Shouting out to my ink.
The violin sang
And I listened,
Its tune told tales-
Of olden fantasies
Of ancient folklore
Of classical myth,
Its melody spoke
Of elven creatures
In the woods,
Of church tapestry
In medieval times,
Of battles and wars,
Between ancient empires
Now I hum in glee
As I follow its riffs
And I close my eyes
As I follow the notes
Once more,
Let me go and listen
To the tune,
