先ほどちらっと雨がポツポツしていましたが、今日は概ね良いお天気。イギリスもやっとお天気が良い日が多くなって来て、嬉しいです。なにしろ、去年の７月ごろからずっと雨ばかりの日々だったので、みんな、お天気が良くなるのを今か今かと待っていました。５月、６月は一般的にイギリスの一番良い季節だと思います。緑が青々としていて、お花もたくさん咲いていて、外出も自分の家のお庭を見るのも楽しい季節。お庭仕事は大変ですが。
There were a few spots of rain earlier but it's been mostly lovely weather today. I'm so glad that we are finally having more sunny days. It's been raining so much since July last year, we were all fed up with the rain and have been wainting for better weather. In general, I feel May and June are the best time in England, it is very green and you see a lot of flowers everywhere you go including your own gardens.
さて、香港時代にお料理教室でお料理を教えていただいていたマダム女将（La Table Enchantee ）の今月のズームレッスンで教えていただいた、オレンジのマフィンを焼きました。粉を入れるまではひたすら混ぜるだけ、粉を入れてからはさっくり混ぜるだけの簡単なマフィン、ふっわふわに美味しく焼けました。
I baked orange muffins that I learned at a zoom cooking class of Madame Okami (La Table Enchantee), I used to take her lessons in Hong Kong. The recipe is very easy, all you do is to keep mixing until you add flour, then you just fold it in. It's really fluffy and yummy.
