昨日は、今月のZoomによる「Ecole Chez Haru」のフランス菓子教室でした。
I took "Ecole Chez Haru" French Patisserie lesson, on Zoom today.
昨日、教えていただいたのは、
＊Myrtille (ブルーベリーケーキ）
＊Verrinnes De Pamplemousse (グレープフルーツムースのグラスデザート）
でした。
We learned how to make :
- Myrtille (Blueberry Cake)
- Verrinnes De Pamplemousse (Grapefruit Mousse Glass Dessert)
たまたま、昨日の夜お友達ご夫婦のお家に夕食に伺ったので、デザートにブルーベリーケーキをホールで、グラスデザートはお友達ご夫婦の分だけ２つお持ちして、あと２つは今日の夕食後いただきます。
We happened to have dinner at our friends' so we took what I made at the class for a dessert - the whole Blueberry Cake and 2 of the Grapefruit Mousse Glass Dessert for them. We'll be having the other two glass desserts tonight after dinner.
ブルーベリーのケーキ。底にピスタチオ入りのビスキュイを敷いてブルーベリーのムースの中にマスカルポーネのババロアとブルーベリーが入っています。
Blueberry Cake - Biscuit with pistachio on the bottom, Mascarpone Bavarois with blueberries in the middle of Blueberry Mousse.
グレープフルーツムースのグラスデザート。これも底にピスタチオ入りビスキュイ、その上にマスカルポーネのババロア、その上にもう一度ピスタチオ入りビスキュイ、その上にグレープフルーツのムース、そして一番上にグレープフルーツのゼリー。
Grapefruit Mousse Glass Dessert. This also has Biscuit with pistachio on the bottom, then Mascarpone Bavarois, another layer of biscuit, Grapefruit Mousse then Grapefruit Jelly on top.
今回のレッスンは層がたくさんあったのでたくさんのパーツを作らなくてはならず、材料の準備が結構大変でしたし、当日のレッスンも３時間とやや長めのレッスンになりました。その分、出来上がりはプロっぽくて満足感あり。そしてもちろん、美味しかったです！（グラスデザートは、後ほどいただきます。）
They both had various layers so preparing the ingredients (measuring) was quite a lot of work and the actual lesson was also a little longer than usual (3 hours), but the results look quite professional and satisfying and of course the cake was yummy. We'll enjoy the glass dessert later.
