今日も１日良いお天気で、この辺りは最高気温２１度でしたがもっと暖かく感じました。明日からもしばらく良いお天気らしく、いよいよヒートウェーブで火曜日から数日２５度まで上がる予想、ロンドンは２８度くらいまで上がるみたいです。今年は必要ないままではないかと思っていましたが、いよいよ冬に入れたダイニングルームのクーラーが役にたつかも知れません。今日は、５分程度を２、３回ですがクラフトルームのクーラーを今年初めて使いました。
It was another lovely sunny day, the temperature went up to about 21C here but it felt warmer to me. The forcast says it'll be very sunny in the next few days and it seems like that heatwave will be here soon and the temperature is expected to go up to 25C around here and 28C in London. Maybe we can finally use the air conditioning unit we had installed in winter in the dining room. I did use the aircon in my craft room for a few times (just 5 minutes or so at a time) for the first time this year.
今日の夕食は、少し前に夫が多めに作ってくれて冷凍していたハンバーグ、ソースだけ作りました。添え野菜は人参とステムブロッコリー。美味しくいただきました！
Today's dinner was Japanese style Hamburg Steak that my husband cooked a few weeks ago, he cooked extra and froze some. The side vegetables are carrots and stem broccoli - we enjoyed everything very much.
食後のチーズは、コンテとブルーシュロプシャー。
We also had cheese after the above - Comte & Blue Shropshre.
そして、甘いデザートは、昨日のフランス菓子教室で作ったグレープフルーツのグラスデザート。昨日伺ったお友達からも、すごく美味しかったとお礼のメッセージがありました。ご主人は特にこのグラスデザートが気に入られたそうです、多分、こちらの方がクリーミーで食べ応えがあるのだと思います。昨日のブルーベリーの方が軽い。どちらも甘すぎない、日本人が好む甘さです。
Then, Grepefruit Glass Dessert that I made yesterday at French Baking Class. I had a thank-you message from the friends we saw yesterday saying how delicious both desserts were and her husband specially loved this one. I think this is a little heavier than the blueberry cake, which is very light. Neither of them are very sweet, what Japanese like.
