今日は、まずまず良いお天気になりました。でも、気温は１７度程度で風も強いので結構寒く感じます。今日から、もう、６月なのに。来週は少し気温が上がる予報でお天気の良い日が続きそう。ちょうど火曜日からちょこっと３泊で旅行をするので、お天気が良いと有難いです。
It was quite a nice day but the temperature was only 17C, which feels quite cold specially as it was quite breezy. We are now into June but it doesn't feel very summery yet. Apparently it'll get warmer and sunny next week. We are going away for 3 nights from Tuesday, so I hope the forecast is right.
今日は、お昼前にネイルサロン、戻って来てサクッとランチをして１時間ほどお庭仕事（花がら摘みや草抜き）、お天気は良いですが涼しいので作業がしやすいかったです。カンカン照りの暑い日はお庭仕事は大変、ちょっと寒いくらいがちょうど良いです。
I went to a nail salon just before lunch time, came home, had a quick lunch, then I did some deadheading and weeding for about an hour or so, I'm glad it was cool for that sort of chore. I've been doing weeding a few times a week to keep them under control.
１週間があっという間、今日は土曜日なので夫がディナー担当でした。イギリスに来てから１週間のルーティーンというものが特になく、あるのは月曜日にベッドのシーツ等を変える（夫がしてくれています）のと水曜日のオンラインスーパーのデリバリー（これも夫、笑）、そして最近始まった土曜日の夫ディナーなので、特に土曜日になると「もう１週間？」と思います。今日夫が作ってくれたのは、スペイン風ポークの煮込みでした、とても美味しかったです、ご馳走さま！
A week goes by so fast! It's a Saturday again so my husband was in charge of cooking the dinner. Since we moved to England we have no 'routine' like we would do something every certain day of a week other than changing the bed (my husband does it!) on Mondays and getting the delivery from the online supermarket on Wednesdays and my husband cooking dinner on Saturdays, so every Saturday I feel, "a week already?". My husband cooked Spanish Pork today, very tasty!
今日は、午後に３度も停電がありました。どれも１分も経たずに復旧したのですが、停電になるとコンピューターもWi-Fiもキッチンにある電化製品などについている時計もやりなおさなくてはいけないので、面倒。イギリスに来てから結構何度も停電の経験をしています。日本では、台風のときにごくたまにしかなかったような？
We had a power cut 3 times this afternoon. Every time it didn't last a minute but computers, wi-fi rooter, watches of electric appliances etc go off and you have to re-do them so it's quite a pain - not that I do any of that but my husband does. I've experienced quite a lot of power cuts in England. I really cannot remember having power cuts in Japan other than very occasional one that we had because of typhoon.
陽がずいぶん長くなって、日没は９時過ぎ、夕食が終わって後片付けをしてもまだ明るいです。
Days are getting very long, the sun set is after 9:00pm so it's still light outside when we finish washing up after dinner now.
