今日は、１日曇りがちで今にも雨が降りそうなお天気でしたが、雨は降りませんでした。ちなみに、明日から４日間のロンドンのお天気予報は、幸い、少しですが良い方に変わって、水曜日お午前中以外は雨は降らない予報になりました。また変わるかもしれないので、まだまだ、油断は出来ませんが。
It was dull all day today and sometimes looked threatening to rain but it didn't. The weather forecast for London from tomorrow for a few days did change overnight and looks a little better, not great but at least it doesn't say rain except Wednesday morning. It may still change again.
今日の夕食は、「おうちピクニック」でした。マークス＆スペンサーズのソーセージロールの他に、フラットピーチ（桃）、トマト、きゅうり、ラディッシュ、セロリ、生ハム、コーニション、チーズ（ブルーシュロプシャー、コンテ）、ゆで卵、ブランストンピクルス。
Today's evening meal was "Picnic at home". As well as sausage rolls from M&S, we had flat peach, tomatoes, cucumber, radish, celery, Parma ham, cornichon, cheese (Blue Shropshire, Comte), boiled eggs, Branston Pickles.
そして、今、写真を撮らなかったことに気づきましたが、夫が好きなグーズベリーを少し前にファームショップで見つけて買ったまま使う機会がなく今日になってしまい、明日から数日いないので使わなくちゃ、ということで、グーズベリーのクランブルを焼きました。わたしは思っていた通り、お砂糖がたくさん入っているのですがそれでもグーズベリーが酸っぱくてあまり好みではなかったのですが、夫は「懐かしい〜！」と喜んでくれて何よりでした。
I just realised I didn't take any photos but we also had a dessert - Gooseberry crumble. I saw gooeeberries in a farm shop last time when we were in a farm shop and bought a packet of them since my husband loves gooseberries. You don't often see gooseberries these days so I had to buy them. However, since then, we hadn't had a chance to use them and they would have gone off before we come back from London so I baked Gooseberry crumble. As I suspected I didn't like it very much, I just found gooseberries too sour even with lots of sugar but my husband was very happy with it since he hadn't had it for decades. I'm very glad he liked it.
