Good morning, my friends, and happy Saturday! I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 86°, mostly cloudy, 20% chance of rain this afternoon, winds from the northeast at 7 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 93%.
I'm not going to lie. Today is going to be a busy day. I have groceries to buy, orders to pick up, and 103 invitations to send out. I've ordered the invitations already. I'll get a text when they're ready for pickup. I'm praying that the people who print the flyers don't mess it up on purpose.
Lt. Col. Allen West will be at our civic center next month, and I just got my precinct peeps information yesterday afternoon. I have 103 flyers to send out. Yeah. Big fun. Big expense, but worth it. I have to get 6 books of stamps and some self-sealing envelopes. I also need some pens.
The flyers cost me $60. When I go to pick them up, I'll just pick up some pens and envelopes as well. Then I'll spend some time addressing envelopes and getting them to the post office. I'll drop them in the main one so they get out quickly.
