今日も、良いお天気でした！これほど長く良いお天気が続くのは、とても久しぶり。
It was very sunny today! It's been a while since we had this many days with good weather.
しかし、暑い！日本は連日３０度超えているので言うのは憚られますが、今日は２７度くらいまで上がりました。外も中も２７度。ずっと寒い日々が続いていて、暑くなって最初の２日くらいはそれほどでもないのですが（うちはクーラーもありますしね）、３日目になると家が全体に温まってしまっているのか気温はそれほどそれまでの２日間と変わらないのに暑く感じます。我が家はクーラーがあって逃げ道がありますし、ずっとお天気が悪いとぶつぶつ言っていたのであまり愚痴りたくはありませんが、ちょっとでも何かすると汗をかき始めるので何もしたくない、涼しいクラフトルームに篭ってだらだらしています。今日は、花殻積みもしたくない。でも、このお天気だとお庭の水撒きは毎日必要なのですよね。我が家は花壇部分と奥のパティオに置いているポットには自動水撒きを設置しているので、手前のパティオと表玄関のポットやハンギングバスケットだけすればOKですが、今お隣がお留守でお互いに留守をする時は水撒きをお願いしあっていてお隣は自動水撒きはないので、お庭全体に水撒きが必要。結構大変。明日は、もっと暑そう。
However, it's too hot! I know it's been above 30C for weeks in Japan comparing to 27C here today, but it is quite hot for us. We had such cold weather for such a long time so the first one or two days of high temperature didn't seem so bad, but now that the whole house is warmed up it does feel very hot. I feel silly saying it's too hot when I gambled how cold it's been, but I cannot help it! As soon as I do anything I start getting hot and sweaty so I didn't want to do anything today, I stayed in my craft room with the aircon on. I didn't even do deadheading the flowers. Unfortunately, the weather means you have to water your garden every day. We have irrigations installed in the flower beds and the pots on the far patio so my husband has to water just the pots on the near patio and the main door, but our next door neighbour is away and we look after each other's gardens when we are away and they don't have irrigations, so my husband need to water the whole gardens for them every day. It's quite a big job. It looks like it'll be even hotter tomorrow.
夕方からダイニングのクーラーを入れて、扇風機をダイニングからキッチンに向けてオンにしてキッチンとダイイング全体が冷える状態にしたので、結構涼しかったです。ダイニングにクーラーを入れて良かった！今年はあまり必要なかったのですが、今日は本当に助かりました。暑い中で食事をするって、結構苦痛なものです。
In early evening we put the aircon in the dining room on and also put the fan on so the cold air is blown to the kitchen - so it was nice and cool when I cooked dinner. So glad we could do that. We hadn't needed the aircon in the dining room much this year, but I really needed it today! It's also very uncomfortable to eat a meal in a hot room.
そんななので、夕食も作りたくない。というとで、簡単なものに。ビビンバの素を使ったビビンバ。ビビンバの素だけだとお野菜がものたらないのでズッキーニともやしを足してタレを足して、キムチをのせて、目玉焼きをのせただけ。一から作るよりずっと楽です。タレ（コチュジャン、蜂蜜、味醂、お醤油を適当に混ぜました）を足さないと、ズッキーニともやしを足した分味が足りないのもありますが、なんと言っても辛さが全然物足りません、足すとグッと美味しくなります。あ〜、美味しかった！
So, I really didn't feel like cooking so cooked something very easy. Bibimbap using a kit from Japan. The kit has cooked vegetables as well as the sauce but not enough so I added courgette and bean sprout as well as kimchee, fried egg and sauce. The sauce that comes in the kit isn't enough partly because I add vegetables but also because it's not spicy enough for us. Extra sauce makes all the difference, it was delicious.
