やっと、イギリスにも夏が来ました！今日は、２３度。（多分、ロンドンは３度くらい高い。こっちの方が南なのですが、この辺りはロンドン近郊に比べて暑い時は３度くらい低く寒い時は３度くらい高いです。）なので、ランチもお庭で。今日は、焼きそばでした。雲のない良いお天気なので日差しがガンガンと強くて陽に当たると暑いですが、湿気はないので日陰に座っていると気持ちの良いお天気です。
The summer is finally here! Yay! The highest temperature is 23C, which isn't really hot. Well, it does feel hot in the sun but nice in the shade. (I think it's about 3C higher in London and around there. For some reason, even though we live in the south, the temperature tend to be about 3C lower in summer and about 3C higher in winter.) So we had lunch on the patio - Yakisoba today. There isn't a cloud in the sky.
明日はもっと暑くなって２５、６度まで上がるらしです。そのくらいだと日陰に座ると気持ち良いと思いますが、問題は、このタイミングで明日は今月のフランス菓子教室があるのです。１週間ほど前の予定でしたが風邪でダウンしていたので、明日にしていただきました。じっとしていれば良い気候ですが、ベイキングには暑い。
It'll be hotter tomorrow and is expected to be about 25C or 26C. It still isn't so hot and should be lovely in the shade but the problem is that I'm taking a zoom French Baking class tomorrow. It was scheduled a week ago but I wasn't well so it's been rescheduled. Although it's nice weather when you don't do much, I'm sure I'll get hot and sweaty doing baking.
そして、この暑さは明日まで、土曜日には２２度に下がるみたい。でも、まぁ、２２度くらいなら寒くはない。
This high temperature is only for 2 days, it'll be donw to 22C on Saturday. Still, 22C is OK, not cold at least.
