Today's Bible Reading- Jeremiah Chapters 17-20.
August's Memory Verse- John 10:27-30.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 88°, cloudy, 12% chance of some rain, winds from the east northeast at 2-6 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 97%.
Okay. So. I managed to get most of my laundry done yesterday. It was late before I got to it because Mom wanted to go with me to pick up her prescription. That took some time because it was her hair washing day and she lets it air dry.
Anyhoo. I have a load in the dryer fluffing. I have a load sitting on the table that needs fluffing, and one load is put away.
It's pretty overcast at the moment. That's fine. I made a pet store order already, and I have my new sticker to put on my car.
Gracie had her nom noms and a good brush. She's chilling on her pillow now. She's keeping an ear towards the sound of my fingers clacking on the keyboard.
Can I be honest? I have so many things I want or need to do, and I don't know where to begin. The garden fence needs sanded and repainted. The "orchard" needs weed eated and mulched, the peonies will have to be planted sometime next month, so that's not an issue. I'm slowly ordering dig barrier panels. I think I may just wait until I have about 10 of them before I put them in. I'm going to need to have them across the entire back fence.
Wood chips need ordered so I can get the peonies mulched and the orchard mulched before it gets cold. The peonies will have to be put in during fall, and after the dig barrier is put in.
I'd like to clean up the yard a little. It's a bit messy in the back. Lots of bits and baubles that need tossed or a home found for them.
The bathroom redo is going to take a bit more than I'd imagined. Also, Pop told us last night that he may be going to Germany for the entire month of September. If that's the case, then I'll either be doing the bathroom on my own, or it'll be pushed back. I hope Pop doesn't go to Germany. He loves to travel overseas, but it's not a good idea right now, especially for Americans.
I'm overwhelmed. Mom's sweater needs finishing before it gets cold. I finally got the rat out of the yarn last night. Praise the Lord for that.
I have a political event to go to tomorrow night. Mom said she was going, and I got a ticket for Pop, too, but I don't know if he'll be able to make it. He'd almost have to just work half a day to get home in time to eat and leave.
I also need to look at sales flyers. Can you believe it's time to make the grocery list again? Wow. Also, the grass will need cut this weekend if there's no rain.
Supper last night was grilled sirloin tips (seasoned with Creole seasoning), mashed potatoes and honey glazed carrots. Tonight, it'll be grilled pork chops, salad and applesauce.
That's all for now, peeps. I need to get around. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
