My Short And Unusual Answers To The Daily Prompt Questions

I was asked why my answers were so unusual and short to the daily prompt questions. Yes, my answers are very different and there are a couple of reasons for that. I believe words matter and have exact meanings. I understand we have modified the meanings to match todays society. But I just find it more fun to look at the true meaning and answer it that way. Does that make me a total goofball, probably. If it does that's not a bad thing.

The short answers are for two different reasons that depend on the wording of the question. Yes have a blog, but I am actually a very private person. Some of the questions I find are worded to elicit more information about myself than I am prepared to give. Others really only need a single word to answer them The daily prompt questions are something knew to me. They appeared when I downloaded Jetpack, for awhile I ignored them. One question I found I wanted to answer because I could do it with 1 word. Will admit I do find it fun answering them my way.

The other reason for my short answers is simple, I don't like wasting words. Politicians waste words all the time to the point of it being verbal diarrhea. I refuse to fall into that trap. A perfect example of that is you see a bird in the air. You can answer what it is with " that is a winged feathered migratory water fowl of the Anatidae species" or you can say " that's a duck". Both are saying the same thing, I just prefer duck.

Unusual and short answers will continue as long as the prompt questions do.
