今日は、晴れ、時々曇り、概ね良いお天気でした。ジェラニュームやレイディーズ・マントル(アルキミアモリス）のお花がほぼ終わっているので、カットバックをしましたが、途中からカンカン照りになり、結構重労働で１時間ほどで汗だくになりギブアップ。続きはまた別の日にするか、ガーデナーさんにお願いします。
It was nice and sunny most of the day today with some moments with large clouds. I did some gardening - geranium and lady's mantle (alchimila mollis) have more or less finished flowering so I cut them back. It was quite a hard work and with the strong sun I got hot and tired in about an hour, I'll leave the rest to another day or ask our gardener to deal with it.
今日の夕食は、マークス＆スペンサーズで買った「チャンキー・野菜スープ」。お昼に（家で残り物でサンドイッチを作ったのですが）結構しっかり食べてしまったので、夜は軽めにしました。たくさんの種類のお野菜が入っていました、お味も悪くはなかったです。
Today's evening meal was a cheat one, we had "Chunky Vegetable Soup" from Marks & Spencer's. We had quite a big lunch (only sandwiches at home but they were very filling) so had a light meal. There were many kinds of vegetables, it wasn't OK.
