But where I work, we get Tesco's leftover breads in a crate on Sunday morning - people just help themselves 'til Monday - by noon they then all get thrown away. We get bloomers, pretzels, tiger bread, but mostly baguettes. I cut the stale baguette into discs (in the picture I've also cut it lengthwise - because I wasn't thinking), butter them generously, spread minced garlic onto it as well and herb of choice. I wrap it in foil, stick it in the oven at 180C, and just eyeball it 'til ready (usually when it starts smelling nice). Voila! Have some stewed tomatoes to dip your garlic bread in.... 😋🍅🍅 | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
