Seasoned Beef, Cubed for Carne Asada Tacos, from local carniceria. Along with fresh corn and flour tortillas. 😋🌮🥩🍃🧀🥬🍅🍈🌶
Beef Taco Meat. Made from premium, hand-selected cuts of beef, this taco meat is perfectly seasoned with a rich blend of authentic Mexican spices. A balance of smoky and savory flavors. Easy to prepare and incredibly versatile, this beef taco meat is perfect for creating delicious tacos, burritos, nachos, or even taco salads. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy a great meal that's sure to become a family favorite.
Just cook the beef in a skillet. While it's cooking, mise en place/get your favorite toppings for tacos out and lined up. Prepare tortillas; I always offer a choice to my family of fried corn tortillas 😍 or they can go for soft shell with flour tortillas. I fry corn tortillas in a little hot oil (beef tallow at my house 😉), flipping, then folding with tongs, quickly, to desired doneness. You can see when it either starts to puff up in spots or a little browning happening on edges or along puffed spots, depending on if you want taco shells still soft or crispy. When meat and tortillas are done, just fill tortillas/taco shells with meat and favorite toppings.
On this occasion, we used a salsa my family LOVES from carniceria, Queso Fresco, chopped onion, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and chopped cilantro.
My family fills their tacos more than I do 🤭 and I always get pics of just mine. I'm not waiting for them 😜 I am aware that many fry the tortillas with the meat (& sometimes cheese) inside the shells; I continue the separate way because... well, old habits die hard 😉 it's what I grew up with, and how I've made them for 50 years now. 🫣 That's what me and my family are used to AND like 👌 🥰
This last batch of tallow I got from Lineage Provisions . Great flavor‼️
