Oh, I changed back my blog to title quarantine lunch due to the fact I am still working from home and avoiding people with the new variants going around.
I lost my appetite somehow, so I opt for a light appetizer or lunch snack instead for today.
It is pan seared chikuwa (Japanese fried fish cake.) I know it is frozen, but it comes in handy. Normally you eat it in ramen or cut it into pieces for hotpot, but I pan seared it and topped with nori fume furikake (seaweed and sesame flakes normally used for rice) and kewpie. I don't have a grill, so pan sear is my only option to make the outside slightly crisp. I could try to air fry it or put it in the oven.
You can stuff veggie in it like cucumber or okra, but I don't have any of that. You can even stuff string cheese from what I have researched so far, but this fatso truly doesn't need cheese since I am a fat asking block of wheel cheese myself. Wait, does that make me stinky?
