I've been considering planting a wildflower field this summer, Alaska has the most beautiful stuff. But that's always the opinion someone has for where they feel at home, isn't it?
Monks hood, delphinium, chocolate lily, fireweeds, forget me not. They're all just so PRETTY!! And I wouldn't have to buy them, I can go beside the road and take a few home.
My hesitation has come from the fact that, most of those flowers I mentioned, are very very poisonous. And I've got a thing against things I can't eat.
However, I do believe beauty is a worthy pursuit to cultivate, and what could be better than wildflowers. Maybe I'll end up with my field by the time next fall comes around.
Love you all!
