今年のクリスマスリースは、こちらでオーダーしました。カクタスをつけたコンテンポラリーなデザインにして欲しいとリクエストしたところ、素敵なリースが届きました。イギリスではトラディショナルなタイプがほとんどで、こういうスタイルはほとんど見かけないので諦めていましたが、お願いしてみて良かったです。
I ordered a Christmas wreath at this online shop this year. I asked if they could use succulents and in a contemporary style and this is what they sent to me and `i love it. Most of the wreath I see in England are traditional style and I'd sort of given up getting a contemporary style one but I'm glad I asked them.
こちらは玄関のドアに飾っていますが、明後日、お友達とリース作りのワークショップに参加するので、そちらは裏口のドアに飾ろうと思っています。
This is on the main door, but I'm going to make a wreath tomorrow at a workshop with a friend and we'll be putting that up on our side door (near the garage).
わたしたちがリースをかけていたとき、お隣では屋根にイルミネーションをつける準備をされていて、先ほど郵便ポストまで行った夫情報ではもう１件のお家もクリスマスのイルミネーションをつける作業中だったそうです。１２月に入ったのでこのタイミングでクリスマスのデコレーションをつけるお家が多いのかもしれません。わたしたちもそろそろクリスマスツリーを買いに行かなくては。
When we were putting the wreath up, we saw our next door neighbour putting up a ladder so he can put the lights on and my husband told me that he saw another neighbour putting the lights up when he went up to the post box. I guess many people are doing the same as we are now into December. We must go and get a tree soon.
