Today's Bible Reading- 1 Corinthians Chapters 12-15.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 59°, sunny, no rain, decent air quality, winds are calm for now and humidity is sitting at 90%.
I did a thing yesterday. I moved the tomatoes and the cucumber into the greenhouse. I walked in and instantly was hit with water drops falling from the ceiling. Oh yeah. I'm excited. The chlorine is already out of the water. We're going to cycle it through, though, for about a month. Just to get things super prepared for the fish to go back in.
Today's goals: ledgers, bills, and laundry. I didn't get to the laundry yesterday. Our neighbor's dog got out and I was able to get him into our back yard. They weren't home, so I went to the pet store to get him a toy and snack to occupy him until they did get home, and my mom calls me while I'm in the pet store: he jumped the fence and went running off again.
The next door neighbor (the one with the cats) was able to catch him and get him hooked back up to his runner in the back yard. He wasn't interested in the snacks I bought him. Now I have dog snacks and a chew toy that I don't know what to do with. Wonderful. Oh well. It was an interesting part of the day.
Supper was pretty decent. I'm still figuring out how much liquid I need to make chicken and dumplings. It was pretty watery last night, but the broth was delicious! I'm definitely loving this new broth concentrate. Very tasty. Tonight will be shredded beef enchiladas. I'm trying the red enchilada sauce this time. We shall see how that goes. There are some chicken and dumplings left over. If we have leftover enchiladas, I'll just do a leftover night on Thursday.
I ordered Mom some sheets yesterday. It's a replacement Christmas present for the one that was out of stock. I may be getting a couple of presents today in the mail. We'll see. It's not much, but it'll have to do.
That's about all I have for today, peeps. I may clean the indoor garden and start a new round of herbs. I'm definitely trying cilantro again. I think I have parsley and I know I have basil. Maybe I could do some mint. We'll see. Fresh herbs are so much more flavorful.
Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
