Today's Bible Reading- 1 Chronicles Chapters 11-13.
May's Memory Verse- 1 Thessalonians 5:18-22.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 84°, sunny, no rain, winds from the northwest at 1-5 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 93%.
A beautiful, warm day today! My little window a/c unit is pumping out cool air, and my smoothie is sitting here next to me, ready to be devoured. I'm enjoying these smoothies. I'm using the Spiru-tein protein powder in the cappuccino flavor. Some frozen peaches (the last in the bag), frozen blueberries, a scoop of protein powder, and then chocolate milk. Blend it together and voila! A smoothie of deliciousness. I'm using the chocolate milk up so that it doesn't go bad.
I took my bandages off this morning before I took a shower. I have steri-strips on. I can't tell if there are stitches, but Mom said that everything looks really good.
Gracie is settled in for her morning nap. I've fed the fish and checked the garden. My second batch of radishes isn't ready yet. I pulled one up to look at it. I'm pretty sure the varieties I planted are French Breakfast and White Icicle. Pretty sure. The French Breakfast are the ones I've been harvesting. The White Icicle isn't ready yet.
I'd love to get down and do some weeding in the peppers and tomatoes areas, but I don't think I can handle much of that yet. They need a serious weeding, though. The squash and melon plants have really taken off! We also have little baby clusters of grapes starting. Isn't that exciting? My baby blueberry that I thought was lost has shot up, too, and is almost taller than the other small blueberry plant I planted with it. It's amazing what a little tender care, protection and a truckload of prayer will do. I believe it's more the prayer than anything else. The Lord has really taken care of my garden while I've been out of commission.
I slept a lot better last night. I wonder if maybe I was just too hot. I ran the a/c unit all night and only woke up once for a potty break. That was about 4:49 this morning. Once I got back to sleep, I didn't stir until almost 7:30.
Today is grocery ordering day. I need to get the list together. Mom has the menu. I just need to compile the list, order it and go pick it up.
Other than that, I need to balance ledgers and wash sheets. That's all I have planned for today.
That's all for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
