今日も暑い〜！昨日と同じくらいです。なので、今日もわたしはクラフトルームに篭っています。家の中に熱が篭っていて、キッチンとクラフトルームの間にある廊下がむっとしています。そして、昨日同様夕方にダイニングルームのエアコンをオンにして扇風機で冷風をキッチンに送って夕食を作りました。
It's hot again! About the same as yesterday, so I stayed in my craft room with the aircon on now and again. It seems like the heat is being trapped in the house and the corridor between the kitchen and my craft room feels very hot. Like yesterday, we put the aircon on in the evening before dinner time, put the fan so it sends the cool air from the dining room to the kitchen so I can cook in a cook kitchen.
今日の夕食は、チキン・シュニッツェルとサルサ。（レシピは、こちら。）揚げ焼きする時間は少しなので暑くないし、と思ったのですが、忘れいました、チキン・シュニッツェルの時はサルサとローストポテトを添えるのでした。ローストポテトを作るにはオーブンが必要なのでキッチンが暑くなるのですよね、なので煮込みやオーブン料理は暑い期間避けていたのに。でも、エアコンのお陰で涼しかったです、良かった！エアコンさまさま、です。
Today's dinner was Chicken Schnitzel (the recipe is from here, in Japanese only). I chose this dish because shallow frying time is very short and I thought it wouldn't heat up the kitchen but then I remembered I always serve this with roast potatoes! So the oven had to be on, which made the kitchen warmer. Still, with the aircon on it was cool enough for me, I'm so thankful for the aircon in the dining room this year.
