Today's Bible Reading- Ezekiel Chapters 11-13
September's Memory Verse- Acts 5:29
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 81°, partly cloudy, no rain, winds from the east northeast at 10-17 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 86%.
I hope everyone had a good day yesterday. It was a long day yesterday for us. Pop hit a few snags, so the goal wasn't met. I felt pretty grimy, so I waited until it was sufficiently dark and people would most likely be in bed, grabbed a bar of soap, changed into some stretchy athletic clothes that were more like swimwear, and I used the hose in the back yard. I was sopping wet when I walked back in the house, but athletic clothes dry quickly. I hung them over my hamper, got into my pjs and crawled in bed.
Today is another day. Pop apparently asked for today off. He's still here. I imagine his goal will be to get the water lines and the shower base in. I can't help much until the subfloor is in. Right now, it's just joists. If you open the door to the bathroom, don't step right in because you'll fall into the crawlspace.
I was trying to think of what I could do today. I think I may mow the back yard. It needs it and it'll be cooler today. We were supposed to get an afternoon storm yesterday. It got dark and windy, but the storm blew over. I'm grateful for that, though, because the subfloor is outside.
Supper will be fajitas today. I made hot dogs last night. Since I'm supposed to be on a gluten free diet through November, I had a wild idea for a hot dog bun. I took a corn tortilla and popped it into the toaster. Gotta say, it sounds terrible, but it was tasty!
That's all I have for today, peeps. Please help me pray that the subfloor and shower base get put in today. It'd be nice to have my toilet back, too. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
