Today's Bible Reading- Ezekiel Chapters 14-16
September's Memory Verse- Acts 5:29
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 80°, partly cloudy, no rain, winds from the northeast at 10-15 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 75%.
It's a beautiful morning here. I had another hose bath last night. Washed my hair, too. It's very voluminous today. Pop hit a few snags with the bathroom yesterday and so the original plan has been changed.
Unfortunately, we'll have to keep the current partition that's there, but we'll have to rebuild it due to water damage. Also, we have to add a second partition to make sure the drain hole for the shower base is over the drain pipe. Otherwise, it'll be sitting smack dab over the joist.
Today, though, there are high hopes that we'll get the floor down and maybe even the shower base in. Pop had hoped to put it in temporarily until we could have some time to work on it, but that isn't possible. Also, to put the shower in, we'll have to have the drywall up.
The lawn mower needs oil, so I didn't get the yard mowed yesterday. I'll probably make a run today and get some oil for it. That back yard is getting lush again.
I also need to do laundry. Badly. I need to look at the weather for the next week and figure out menus. I have a bill that needs paid, ledgers need balanced, and there's so much that needs done, it's not funny. Boxes need taken out. Just a whole smorgasbord of work. The problem is deciding where to start. That's what gets me.
Anyhoo. It's a beautiful morning. It's cool, thank the Lord. The sun is bright. The coffee is decent. I think supper will be chili and cornbread.
That's all I have for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
