We finally found good summer peaches! And I'll cut right to the chase: I ran home and baked this peach crisp! It's my ultimate all-time favorite summer dessert, and the first bite was heaven. The second and third bites... also heaven!
This recipe is a little different than classic peach crisp recipes, because it features bourbon and pecans. But if those aren't your thing, you can still make this recipe! Just skip the nuts and use a Tablespoon of vanilla instead of the bourbon. Just make sure you don't skip the ice cream. Which would be a crime! |
